Registration Form Instructions
The Meetings include a series of breakout sessions held during
the event. There will be 2 sets of breakout sessions: one in the
morning and one in the afternoon. The first set of breakout sessions
will focus on infrastructure development, and the second day of
sessions will focus on market expansion. As available, participants
will be allowed to choose their breakout group topic. Specific group
topics will be:
Infrastructure Development Breakout Groups
(morning)
Group A: Codes and Standards
Group B: Education and Certification of Installers/Code
Officials
Group C: PV Rating System
Group D: Financial and Insurance Issues
Market Expansion Breakout Groups (afternoon)
All of the Market Expansion Breakout Groups will cover the same
topics related to growing the markets for solar technologies, including
how to promote large-scale installations, overcoming obstacles to
building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), promoting city-level engagement
with solar technology (e.g., the Solar America Cities concept).
Participants will be evenly divided and randomly assigned to a breakout
group for these sessions.
**These groups are subject to change. Every effort will be
made to accommodate your requested breakout group preference.
The size of breakout groups will be controlled by DOE. However,
every effort will be made to place participants in the group they
most prefer as long as group size permits.
Questions related to registration, meeting materials, etc. should
be directed to meetings@sentech.org
EMAIL CONFIRMATION WILL BE SENT TO REGISTRANT UPON ACCEPTANCE.
It is our expectation that participants will come having
provided feedback to the Department's SAI
Technology Acceptance Request for Information (RFI).
The RFI includes instructions on how to respond to the
focus areas contained therein. The RFI focus areas also provide
more detail about the topics of the breakout groups. Participants
should plan on fully reviewing this material prior to arrival.
